2024 Public Insight Survey

The Root Cause Coalition conducted a public insight survey in April 2024.  Results show concern about one’s physical and mental health, with the latter specifically of concern for younger adults.  Access to mental health services remains a challenge along with offering healthy food to oneself and their family.  The cost of healthy food is the primary reason parents say offering healthy food to their family is challenging.  More than one-quarter of mothers say the maternal health care they receive/received was only somewhat adequate.  Lower income individuals are most likely to report not having health insurance.

Methodology: 1,000 interviews among adults age 18+ were conducted from April 5-9, 2024 using an online survey. The results were weighted to ensure proportional responses. The Bayesian confidence interval for 1,000 interviews is 3.5, which is roughly equivalent to a margin of error of ±3.1 at the 95% confidence level.  Totals may not add up to 100% due to rounding.
