Recent research from The Root Cause Coalition provides insights into Americans’ concerns about their own mental health as well as their children and family member’s mental health.
Recent research from The Root Cause Coalition provides insights into Americans’ concerns about their own mental health as well as their children and family member’s mental health.
Key findings from this survey of American families include the following:
- Nearly two-thirds worried about their own mental health at least a little
- Of those worried about their own mental health, nearly 4 in 10 say they experienced changes in their behavior and relationships
- Of those worried about their family’s mental health, nearly 4 in 10 report changes to their relationships with family/friends
- More than 1 in 5 are currently seeking treatment for mental health issues
- More than half of respondents believe that children’s mental health is worse off than two years ago
- 4 out of 5 Americans think addressing children’s mental health should be a priority among policy makers
