Description
Session Description
We often see organizations presenting what they’ve done to address social drivers of health, highlighting the successes of their work and their partnerships. But we don’t often get to see how they did it. How did the partnership happen? What is required to successfully unite priorities, policies, and personalities? This workshop takes you behind the curtain of a partnership between two large organizations who have navigated challenges at the organizational and systems levels to advance work at the intersection of health and social care. The presenters will share how Lutheran Services in America and UnitedHealthcare ultimately came together from a place of shared values and shared commitments, to develop strategies across multiple lines of business and SDoH focus areas.
