Food Banks are working to decrease disparities and support thriving communities through health equity programs in partnership with community health partners. Food Banks are uniquely suited to build initiatives and partnerships that allow everyone to have a fair and just opportunity to attain their highest level of health. While they have different approaches, food banks are using data tools, building state health equity coalitions, and using assessments to ensure racial equity. In this session, we will hear from three food banks in Philadelphia, Memphis and Albuquerque of their different approaches to partnering on healthcare partnerships, the impact they have already had on Neighbors in their communities, and the possibilities they see for this work.
