Session Description
Food security and health are inextricably linked. Feeding America aims to transform the charitable food experience for people facing hunger so that more people, especially neighbors living with chronic diseases, can access nutritious food that promotes improved health and well-being. This session will highlight the innovative strategies employed by the Feeding America network in our collaboration with the healthcare system, including through pilot programs, evaluations, and partnerships with Department of Health and Human Services, Elevance Health, and the Center for Nutrition and Health Impact. Hear from panelists on the diverse programs managed by Feeding America partner food banks and learn from our program and evaluation partners on how they are navigating this complex landscape.
